Sometimes you have to hear a song after you have gone through some form of feeling or pain to hear the lyrics underneath. In many cases, those lyrics can be lost in the rock beat of the music as I think this song “All The Things That I Have Done” by the Killers is. It took me many, many listens to hear the pain of their lyrics through the music. Now I believe I hear why they say “I’ve got soul, but I’m not a soldier”. I think many of us can relate.
