Penn Innovations, LLC has released a new iPhone/iTouch app called “Bully Shield” to help children, family members, teachers, and school administrators create bully-free zones and get tips on dealing with bullying issues.
Bullying prevention expert, Dr. David Hall, Ed. D developed this new app using researched-based strategies in hopes that it will help reduce the degree to which bullying can occur. The app will help parents understand and advise their children with research-based solutions instead of guessing what to tell them. It also allows children to have an action plan for themselves. Finally, it helps teachers and school administrators develop bully-free zones for their school.
The app cost $0.99 to download and according to the developer was released now, on the heels of what happened recently to Phoebe Prince. You can read and download the tool by going to this link at iTunes.
